The Peacock Spring is a 1996 British television film directed by Christopher Morahan, based on Rumer Godden’s novel. The story follows Sir Edward Gwithian (Peter Egan), a British diplomat in India, who summons his teenage daughters, Alix (Jennifer Caron Hall) and Una (Hattie Morahan), to live with him.
